Inventory System Pure PursuitHowever, few things are common for all types of simulation:

- We start with a mathematical model of the system under study
- Some initial conditions (i.e. at t=0) are assumed
- State change occurs in accordance with some equations (rules or laws)
- At the end, desired information about the system (i.e. problem solution) is collected
- These rules can be coded in a computer program. Change in program variables mimics the state change.
- Therefore, through simulation, we managed to get around the necessity of obtaining the analytic solution
